Some years ago I read a small book about the Pentecostal movement written by Massimo Introvigne, while I was preparing a thesis on the Pentecostal movement. It gave me a big surprise. So many Catholics who were baptized but do not practice the faith, are transferring continuously to the Pentecostal churches or to other religions in Latin America and in Africa. I wanted to know the reason for this movement.\u003cbr\u003e\nWith this situation in mind, I came to have a big desire to know how the pentecostal churches do pastoral ministry. I also felt it was important to study the pentecostal movement considering its rapid growth and influence.\u003cbr\u003e\nSince the Pentecostal movement is an experience-centered faith movement, not a theological movement, their theology is not well developed systematically. Therefore, for the purpose of this study, I thought I would summarise his theology and ministry, focusing on Yong-Gi Cho (1936-2021), who has had a significant international impact in the Pentecostal world.
