The Korean peace process was initiated in order to resolve the inter-Korean conflict and denuclearize North Korea. In 1998, South Korean President Kim Dae-jung announced a Sunshine Policy towards North Korea and an Inter-Korean summit was held in 2000. In 2006, North Korea conducted its first nuclear test. A second inter-Korean summit was held in 2007. In 2017 South Korean President Moon Jae-in returned to the Sunshine Policy. A summit between Moon and Kim took place in the South Korean zone of the Joint Security Area, and they signed the Panmunjom Declaration pledging to work towards a permanent peace to the Korean peninsula and the complete denuclearization of Korea.","brand":"My Store","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":48987501199612,"sku":"9791159018527","price":24.72,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0730\/4681\/9068\/files\/9791159018527.jpg?v=1776383596","url":"https:\/\/bookstore12.com\/products\/book-9791159018527","provider":"Bookstore 12","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
