이 책은 저자가 수년간의 강의경험과 관련 자료를 준비하여 CBT 대비 위험물기능사 필기시험을 준비하는 수험생들의 실력 배양 및 합격에 도움이 되고자 다음 사항에 중점을 두고 구성하였다.
첫째, 한국산업인력공단의 위험물기능사 필기 출제 기준에 맞추어 각 과목별로 정리하였다.
둘째, 2016년까지의 출제문제를 분석하여 각 과목 세부 단원별 핵심이론정리와 예상문제를 수록하여 CBT 필기시험에 대비할 수 있도록 하였다.
셋째, 각 세부 단원별 이론 내용을 학습한 후 관련 예 상문제를 곧바로 학습할 수 있도록 하였고, 예상문 제 중에서 과년도에 변형되어 출제된 문제를 함께 수록하여 학습능률 증대와 함께 변형된 문제에 대 비할 수 있도록 하였다.
넷째, 2012년부터 2016년 제4회까지 시행되었던 5년 간의 필기문제를 자세한 해설과 함께 수록하였다.
다섯째, CBT 대비 모의고사를 자세한 해설과 함께 수록하여 CBT 필기시험 전에 실력을 점검·확인 할 수 있도록 하였다.
여섯째, 저자가 직접 인터넷 카페를 개설, 관리하여 온라인상으로 질문 및 답변과 함께 시험정보를 공 유할 수 있는 공간을 마련하였다.
