건축에서 다이어그램은 자신의 아이디어를 좀 더 간단하고 쉽게 표현하기 위해서 사용된다. 다이어그램의 활용이 늘어나면서 이전보다 조금 획일적인 표현형태를 띄게 됐지만 여전히 건축가를 비롯한 학생, 디자이너들 사이에서 디자인 툴로 사용되고 있다. 이에 담디는 조금은 색다른 방식으로 자신의 아이디어를 표현하는 전세계 건축가들의 작업들을 모아 Conceptual IDEA를 발간하였다. 82팀 건축가들의 253개 프로젝트를 통해 다이어그램이 그들의 프로젝트에서 어떻게 사용되었으며 어떤 방식으로 표현되었는지를 보여주고자 한다.

The word 'diagram' is not so unfamiliar anymore to those who practice architecture. It is widely used as a design tool for domestic designers as well, including students and architects. The special issue 'ACTIVITY DIAGRAMS', which came out before 'CONCEPTUAL DIAGRAMS', dealt with few designers' diagrams in depth.
At the point where there exists some concept on what diagrams are, DAMDI now presents 'CONCEPTUAL IDEA' as a follow-up. It illustrates through 253 projects, how 83 architects use diagrams to support and explain their projects.
In the volume 1, we aranged 3 category [HOUSING | EDUCATION | COMMERCIAL]. And volume 2 [URBAN DESIGN | CULTURAL DESIGN | PUBLIC DESIGN | INSTALLATION].
