서울대학교 경영연구소 경영사례 시리즈 14

최근 국내외 경영대학에서는 사례 중심 교육의 중요성이 점점 강조되는 추세이다. 그러나 그 동안 우리나라에서는 기업 사례가 거의 개발된 적이 없기 때문에, 국내 경영대학 교수들은 주로 하버드 경영대학원에서 개발한 외국기업 사례를 강의에 활용해 왔다. 그러나 한층 더 현실감 있는 강의를 위해서라도, 국내기업 사례를 사용하는 것이 좋을 것이다.

서울대학교 경영연구소가 발간하는 '경영사례 시리즈'의 첫 번째 목적은 다양한 국내기업 사례를 소개하여 국내 경영대학 교수들의 강의를 돕고자 하는 것이다.

현재 국내기업의 세계적 위상이 급상승하면서 외국의 대학교수나 경영자들은 국내기업에 대하여 매우 높은 관심을 보이고 있다. 이러한 맥락에서, '경영사례 시리즈'의 일부 사례는 영어로 개발되어, 외국의 대학과 기업에 국내기업 사례를 소개하려는 목적 또한 갖고 있다.
