이명우 한-영 시선집

산골풍경의 시, 영역되어 또 다른 풍경으로 남다
지금까지 이명우 시인이 연작(連作)한'산골풍경'은 1100편에 이른다. 시인은 1100편만큼의 산골풍경을 독자 앞에 시로써 걸어놓은 것이다. 시인이 자서에서 산골풍경을 시제(詩題)로 33년 동안 써 왔다고 했다. 그럼에도 불구하고 앞으로도 계속 이어나갈 계획이라고 한다. 이는 어제와 같은 오늘이 없고 오늘과 같은 내일이 아니듯, '산골풍경'도 늘 변화하고 바라보는 시인의 시선도 달라지기 때문일 것이다. 이러한 이명우 시인이 문득, 어제의 산골풍경을 되돌아보았다. 그가 담아낸 산골풍경 중에서 영역을 통해 더 많은 사람과 공유하면 좋을 시들을 발견했다.
영역된 55편의 시를 다시 한 번 읽어 볼 기회가 주워졌다. 시인이 그토록 보여주고 싶었던 풍경은 과연 어떤 것이었을까?
