저자 정웅일(Ung-il CHUNG / Yuichi TEI)은
Professor, Department of Bioengineering, Graduate Schools of Engineering and Medicine, The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
Dr. Chung graduated from University of Tokyo School of Medicine to obtain M.D. in 1989. After working as a Resident and Clinical Fellow in Internal Medicine at University of Tokyo Hospital, he entered and graduated from University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine to obtain Ph.D. in 1997. In 1998, he was appointed Instructor in Medicine, Harvard Medical School, and then in 2001 Assistant Professor of Medicine. In 2002, he came back to his alma mater, worked at Graduate Schools of Medicine and Engineering. Since 2007, he is holding his current position. He attempts to clarify the mechanism and origin of morality and to create devices to measure and visualize morality levels using voice recognition system. He also tries to install the morality engine on artificial intelligence and robots.
In collaboration with Shunji Mitsuyoshi
Project Assistant Professor, Graduate School of Medicine, the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
Dr. Mitsuyoshi received his BFA from Tama Art University, Hachioji, Japan, in 1988, and his Ph.D. from Graduate School of Advanced Technology and Science, the University of Tokushima, Tokushima, Japan, in 2006.
He became the CEO of AGI Inc. in 1999. From 2003 to 2004 he worked as a Visiting Researcher at Stanford University. Since 2009, he works as an Adjunct Lecturer at Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo. Since 2014, he has been a Project Assistant Professor at
Graduate School of Medicine, the University of Tokyo.
His research interests are engineering, psychology, brain science, Al, voice emotion recognition, voice analysis of pathophysiology, and artificial ego.
