재난에 살다

INTRO
재난의 일상화
지금까지 ‘재난’은 통상적으로 몇 년, 몇 십년에 한 번 발생하는 일회성의 사건이라고 생각되는 경우가 많았다.
하지만 재난은 더 이상 우리 사회와 동떨어진 단발성의 사건이 아니다.
재난은 일상이 되었고, 재난으로 인해 피해 속에서 살아가는 사람도 수없이 많다.
우리는 지금까지는 재난을 두려움의 대상으로 인식해왔지만,
재난이 만연한 오늘날 재난에 대해 직접 마주하고, 깊게 고민할 필요가 있다.

인간과 재난
인간이 재난을 인지하는 시기는 다양하며, 재난이 포괄하는 영역 또한 넓기 때문에 하나의 재난상황이라고 하더라도 이에
대응하는 인간의 행위와 가치는 다양하게 나타난다.

어떤 재난을 선정하는지, 어떤 시기에, 어떤 방법으로
재난을 바라보고 대응할지에 따라서 다양한 해석이 가능하다.

PURPOSE
재난에 살다
제10회 대학생건축과연합회 전시에서는 〈재난에 살다〉를 주제로 각자의 방식으로 재난에 대해 해석하고,
재난-인간사이의 상호작용에 대한 탐구를 바탕으로 그에 대응하는 디자인을 제안한다.
재난은 인류가 지난 역사를 일궈오며 늘 맞닥뜨려 온 것이었다.
자연발생적 자연 재해부터 인간 활동에 의한 사회재난까지 인류의 삶은 늘 재난과 함께였다 .
크고 작은 재난은 지금도 사회 곳곳에서 일어나고 있으며, 우리에게 많은 영향을 주고 있다.
재난을 완벽히 예방하는 것은 불가능에 가깝지만
재난에 대해 고민하고 대응하려는 시도는 분명히 의미가 있다.

Disaster, becoming our daily life
Until now, 'disaster' has often been thought to be a one-time event that usually occurs once every few years or
decades. However, disasters are no longer a one-off event far from our "life".
Disaster has become a daily life, and there are countless people living in damage due to disasters.
We have recognized disasters as fears to this day, but we need to face disasters in person and think deeply about
them today when disasters are rampant.

Human and disaster
Since there are various times when humans perceive disasters, and the areas covered by disasters are also wide,
even in a single disaster situation, human actions and values corresponding to them appear in various ways.
Various interpretations are possible depending on
which disaster is selected, when, and how to view and respond to the disaster.

PURPOSE
Live in disaster
In the 10th UAUS exhibition, under the theme of Living in Disaster, disaster is interpreted in their own way and a
corresponding design is proposed based on the study of disaster-human interaction.
Disaster has always been encountered by mankind throughout its past history.
From natural disasters to social disasters caused by human activities, human life has always been with disasters.
Large and small disasters are still occurring throughout society and have a lot of influence on us.
It is close to impossible to completely prevent disasters,
but attempts to think about and respond to disasters are clearly meaningful.
