JOSEPH PAK 고등학교 때 미국으로 건너가 휴스턴에 있는 La Porte High School을 졸업하였으며, 텍사스 주립대(UT Austin)에 진학하여 수학과 경제학을 전공하였다. 이후 content exam(135 Mathematics 8-12)을 패스하여 텍사스주 공립고등학교에서 교사로 가르칠 수 있는 자격을 취득하였다. 지난 15여년 동안 미국수학 전문강사로서 학생들을 가르쳐 왔으며 누구보다 미국 고교의 수학교육 시스템을 정확히 이해하고 있다. 저서로는 미국고교수학 시리즈 〈ALGEBRA 1〉, 〈ALGEBRA 2〉, 〈GEOMETRY〉, 〈PRE-CALCULUS〉, 〈AP-CALCULUS AB&BC〉 〈DSAT MATH〉가 있다.
