Ahn In-sook, herself translated 92 poems on her first collection of poetry into English. In the poet's words, she said she faced painful but joyful moments while translating every poem. Each poem including her tears and laughter leaves a touching aftertaste with a balance of understated language and emotions. She captures the joys and sorrows of everyday life, and ordinary but special aspects of life and uses them as a subject of poetry as if talking with a friendly friend. The collection of poems is all in English, and you can refer to the Korean version, OsongForest's 『그녀가 피아노 치는 이유』.
안인숙 시인은 첫 번째 시집의 증보판에 92편의 시를 직접 번역하였다. 시인의 말에서 그녀는 매 시를 번역할 때 고통스럽지만 환희의 순간을 맞이했다고 말하고 있다. 그녀의 눈물과 웃음이 있는 각시들은 절제된 언어와 감정의 균형으로 여운을 남긴다. 일상에 깃든 삶의 애환과 평범하지만 특별한 모습들을 포착해 시의 소재로 삼아서 다정한 친구와 이야기 하듯 시를 풀어나가고 있다. 이 시집은 모두 영어로 구성되었으며, 한국어판은 오송숲의 「그녀가 피아노 치는 이유」를 참고할 수 있다.

Ahn In Suk majored in English Language and Literature, English Translation, and English Education as a course of BA, MA,and Ph.D. respectively at Korea University. She has been writing poems and producing books and e-books since she debuted as a poet at Sisamundan in 2018.
